California Notice at Collection

This California Notice at Collection ("CA Notice") applies to California residents and supplements our Privacy Policy. It is provided pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 and the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (collectively, "CCPA").
Categories of Personal Information We Collect
At or before the point of collection, California residents are entitled to know the categories of personal information collected and the purposes for which it is used.

Sensitive Personal Information
We do not collect social security numbers, driver's license numbers, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, health data, or financial account credentials beyond what is needed for payment processing (handled by Stripe).
Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Upon account deletion, we remove or de-identify your data within 30 days except where longer retention is required by law.
Your California Privacy Rights
California residents have the following rights under the CCPA:
- Right to Know: Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, and how it has been used and disclosed.
- Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal information we have collected from you (subject to certain exceptions).
- Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing: Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. See our Do Not Sell or Share page.
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: Limit how we use sensitive personal information (we do not use it for purposes beyond providing services).
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
How to Exercise Your Rights
To submit a request, email us at support@smtconstructions.com with the subject line "California Privacy Request." We will verify your identity before responding. We aim to respond within 45 days; if more time is needed, we will notify you.
You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf by providing written authorization.
Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
SMTHUB does not sell your personal information to third parties for monetary compensation. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Our use of analytics tools (such as server logs) is limited to internal platform improvement.
